The name AHRÉM evokes a quiet meditation on beauty and time. It reflects a sensitivity to fleeting moments — the subtle awareness that beauty often reveals itself in what is passing, in what is gently incomplete, and in the quiet spaces between forms.

Our work is inspired by the refined aesthetic sensibility rooted in Japanese culture, where simplicity, restraint, and balance reveal a deeper form of beauty. Through a contemporary lens, these ideas take shape in jewelry that feels both timeless and modern.
About the Designer and Creator of AHRÉM
.AHRÉM was founded by Michiru Maeno, a Japanese designer based in Valencia, Spain.
Born and raised in Japan, she initially pursued a degree in law before discovering her passion for jewelry design. She later studied at the Escuela de Arte Superior de Diseño de Valencia, where she developed her artistic approach, and further enriched her creative path through an Erasmus scholarship in Germany.
Now based in Valencia, she creates jewelry that reflects a dialogue between Japanese aesthetic sensibility and contemporary European design.
Every piece is designed and handcrafted by her, from the first sketch to the final finishing.
Materials
AHRÉM is committed to conscious and sustainable production. Whenever possible, we use recycled metals. When this is not feasible, we use exclusively Fairmined-certified gold and silver, ensuring ethical sourcing and full traceability.
We collaborate with a trusted supplier of precious and semi-precious stones to guarantee responsible sourcing. Our medium-term goal is to work entirely with ethically and sustainably sourced gemstones, aligning every creation with the values of AHRÉM.
Handcrafted Production
Each piece is designed and handcrafted in Valencia, Spain, where traditional jewelry-making techniques meet a contemporary artistic approach.
Most pieces are made to order, allowing us to minimize waste while ensuring thoughtful, responsible, and highly personalized production.
